Season's Greetings!

For a third consecutive year, Wit&Will Theatre presents the inspiring, entertaining, and ecumenical tale of hope and redemption: Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol by Tom Mula. This "contemporary classic" is appropriate for all ages. We invite you and your organization to make this holiday season more special by sharing this theatrical experience.

In addition to our scheduled performances at three different Capital District locations, we are available to perform Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol for your congregation or organization. Please see our contact details below.

Called by the Chicago Tribune "Nothing less than an anthem to human nature, to imagination, and to the wonder of compelling storytelling,"

Playbill calls Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol "an imaginative and hilarious new take on the Christmas classic filled with clever wit, a creative plot, delightful new characters, and of course the heartwarming conclusion that is now even more heartwarming than before. "

Wit&Will Theatre performs Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol as if Monty Python met Charles Dickens head on, telling Dickens' classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge's redemption from Jacob Marley's supernatural perspective with all the verve and spontaneity of Wit&Will's monthly improv comedy shows and vivacious summer Shakespeare productions.

Five actors create 20 characters during a 90-minute performance of this funny, irreverent, and enchanting Christmas story, which promises to become a holiday favorite.

The New York Times wrote of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol, "Move over Scrooge, it's time for Jacob Marley to tell his story. This hilarious, affectionate, and very moving work brings the ghost of Jacob Marley out of the shadows and into the spotlight to tell HIS version of the Dickens classic. Take a fanciful tour of Marley's afterlife and his assignment to redeem Scrooge -- and himself -- in this delightful gem."
